Bankshot Billiards

The Bankshot Billiards Game - An Introduction

The Bankshot Billiards 2 or BB2 is a software game. The game was named after the unusual move that was discovered when the billiard game was still new and evolving. Originally, the billiard table had raised edges that were necessary to keep the balls from rolling off. These edges, which simulated the banks of the river, were actually named "banks." Then lo and behold a discovery was made. Whenever a ball hit the bank it would change its trajectory as it bounced back. Soon, players were deliberately using the banks to make better shots. This move was dubbed the "bankshot" and was the inspiration for the name of the software game.

The Bankshot Billiards game was developed and launched by PixelStorm on November 22, 2005. The game basically offers a few billiard game choices, such as Euro 8 Ball, 8 Ball, 9 Ball, 3 Ball, Cutthroat, 14.1 Continuous, Time Trial and Golf. Though golf is not a billiards game, it somehow matches with the rest of the contents. In this billiard pool game, multi players can take part, excluding the computer. It has crisp graphics and user friendly controls that can be mastered within half an hour of "hands on playing." Two players can also play as opponents on the same console while using Xbox live.

You will find the Bankshot Billiards game an entertaining pastime, if you love computer games. Gamers like the graphics, as well as the presentation of the game, which makes it easy even for a beginner to play well. However, people who enjoy live games better are not satisfied with the BB2, as it is popularly known, and find it a little dull. Overall, the game is very user-friendly, and anyone can master it in no time. For e-billiard game fans this is an excellent pastime.

The Bankshot Billiards 2 or the BB2 game is known the world over as a billiard game copyrighted by PixelStorm. Though it has excellent graphics and offers as many as nine games, it has received mixed reviews. Some find it highly entertaining and become addicts after playing a few games, while others find it too dull and boring. Since the reactions to the game are mixed, you will have to judge for yourself whether it is entertaining or not.
